Trades Union Congress (TUC)
The TUC represents 6.5 million people in 66 trade unions. The 66 trade unions are all affiliated to the TUC. Just as individuals workers benefit by joining together in a union, so unions gain strength by acting together through the TUC. Contact the TUC where you will be able to locate all the different trade unions and where you will be able to find a trade union to cover the type of work you are doing.

European Trade Union Federation (ETUC)
Founded in 1973 and is in affiliation with 76 national trade union confederations from a total of 34 European countries , as well as 11 European industry federations making a total of 60 million members.

The world trade union body which was set up in 1949 and has 234 affiliated organisations in 152 countries with a membership of 148 million.
